And it wasn't your comment but its fine I'm just going to call my doctor because they only gave me one ultrasound this entire pregnancy at 31 weeks.
I don't know how you took my comment as rude? I simply answered the question that you asked. I apologise if I came across as rude it wasn't my intention, I honestly just tried to help answer your question.
But peoples passive rude comments sure do help :) thanks
I'm sure if they were that concerned about your baby being big at 37 weeks they would have already had a conversation with you about the possibility of needing induction. Also they can't tell how big a baby is without an ultrasound, all they are doing is a rough guess based on an average. Even with an ultrasound they can be off by 2lb, so what's estimated at a 4lb baby could only be 2/3 lb.
I've had growth scans all the way through and at 32 weeks baby was estimated at 4lb 2 oz, I'm now 40 weeks and baby is now only estimated at 7lb13oz which is completely average.
My doctor told me that was big and that they were going to keep an eye on the situation but they haven't given me any ultrasounds or anything. I was just wondering if they would induce me at 39 weeks if my baby gets to big
That's actually not all that big though unless you'd doctor thought so. My son was 5 lbs at 33 weeks.
I'm asking if they will induce me because my baby is measuring big
39wks or later,,, depending on Dr. And ^^she is right they won't induce just because your tired of being pregnant!
In the UK they would not induce you at all before 41 weeks without medical reason, just because your uncomfortable. I'm not sure where you are or how different it is but I don't think that any respectable doctor would induce before 39 weeks without good medical reason. (A big baby and you feeling uncomfortable aren't big enough reasons).
