I've read some of your other posts and it sounds like you really should buy a Doppler. I know they cost a bit but it would probably be worth it for your frame of mind. You'll also probably start to feel better once you start feeling your baby move. Just hang in there and think positive.

Baby heart beat is always more than urs.... When i had doppler check done midwife had my pulse checked by holding my arm n doppler on my baby heartbeat... However good quality doppler show babys hb in written form like 140 or 150 whatevr the hb is at tht time....

How do you know its the babies heart beat n not your. I heard yu can only use it after 28weeks.

Iv had three misscarages so I got my Doppler so i can make sure baby is ok I think a Doppler is worth the money to help keep your mind at rest I love hearing baby

there are many factors involved such as one of them:
baby getting cord wrapped around their neck or get twisted cutting out blood supply...
sometimes women have membrane rupture like my sister in law at 18wks and her son stayed alive for a week but their was nothing they could do...

Loosing all the aminotic fluid before 24wks causing difficulties for baby's growth...

sometimes women have problems with uterus and they do not find out until something goes wrong...

cervix problems(such as incompetent cervix)

abnormalities with baby...

List can go on... all we can do is have faith because where people miscarry there people who give birth as well and their babies are healthy...

if u r concerned buy ur self a doppler.. if not u can always speak to ur doctor regarding that... take cares and best of luck

I miscarried at 20+3 with my first in May. I had no symptoms at all, we just went for an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. The baby was super active and twisted his umbilical cord until it cut off all blood flow to him. They said it happened a couple days before but I couldn't tell at all that there was anything wrong. They had to induce me because my body wouldn't start labor on it's own.
