poop feeling

I feel like I have to poop and nothing comes out. I know I'm not constipated because I have went three times today. Is it just pressure from the baby? I read it can be a sign of labor but I'm not having contractions.

It's most likely just the pressure from the baby pushing down and even though you aren't having contractions it could be early labor.

I've been having trouble pooping and I know this may sound stupid but it helps when I sit on the toilet and just take one deep breath. It's suppose to relax your nerves.

I had the poop feeling first before I had my son 14 hours later. the poop feeling lasted 3 hours before the contractions started coming 10 minutes apart. I was 39 weeks and 4 days when I delivered my son.

How far along are you? Have you lost your mucus plug yet? Some women dialate without feeling contractions.  When i went into labor i was having contractions but i kept going to the toilet thinking I needed to poop. But of course nothing came out. 30min later i went to the hospital and delivered.

I wouldn't strain yourself even if you had to poop. Can flame up hemmorids and that's the least thing you want happening! I'd just drink some water and relax. If you do have to #2 it'll start coming and come out without extra pressure.
