Like they said above it's hard to tell when you will have your first menstrual cycle.  If you are breastfeeding you may not get it for a little while.  Also your hormones are completely changing after the birth of your baby.  It's going to take your body awhile to adjust again.  I believe I got my first period about 6 or 7 weeks after having my DD but that is also when I stopped breastfeeding too.  Good luck and congratulations.

Its hard to say for sure as your body has a lot to deal with after having a baby, if you are nursing it can cause a delay in your period depending how much you are nursing plays a big factor in timing as well but if you are not it can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months or so... there is a big range for what is considered normal as every woman is different...

I've got my period after 6 wks with all 3 of my c-sections!! But yours could be diff hun. If your nursing sometimes it won't come back right away, but that was never the case for me!?!
