Hi Sami1224 you had some questions about tubal pregnancy. I was between 5 / 6 weeks pregnant when I found out it was a tubal. My symptoms were a lot of cramping only on one side and they would last for hours. Mild cramping on both sides is normal. When things got really bad I couldn't stand up straight and there was some blood but not a lot. I went to the Dr.& they did a ultra sound there was nothing in my uterus but they could see a bulge in my tube on the right side. thats where all my cramping was. My tube did not rupture so that was a good thing. I had to go to the er and get a shot to dissolve the clot that was my baby so that it wouldn't rupture my tube. it was horribly hard to know that was what I had to do. but I was lucky that there wad no rupture. Every one is different so there could be other symptoms. I think most tubal occur before 10 weeks and the average is 7 weeks. if your further than that you probably don't need to worry. They are also not super common and worrying is a normal thing for a mom to be. If you having bad cramps or bleeding go to your Dr. right away tell them your fears they can give you good info to put your mind at ease. if u have any more questions please ask try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy its an amazing experience and more often than not everything works out great.
Hi I read that you had a tubal pregnancy this is something that I am very worried about...I know it's probably very hard for you to talk about...but if you don't mind could you possibly describe what some of the symptoms were...and how far along you were when you found out
Im goimg thru the same thing. Im 37, and bery scared that something is gonna be wrong or go wrong. But its just something that we feel as we get older. Because of our age.
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would tell you that it is too late--you are already in love with your baby, it is obvious from your post. If you are already 14 weeks, you are well past the highest risk time for miscarriage and are quite likely to deliver a healthy child. The bad news is that you never get to stop worrying--my oldest baby is 11 and I still worry about her. I once asked an 80+ year old woman and yes, she still worries about her kids!
Good luck!
Dr B
I definitely understand your apprehension. After I had a mc, I got preg again 2 months later and didn't tell anyone about the baby until I was 20 weeks. I was so afraid and stressed that I was going to have another mc. But now my baby boy just turned 1 yr old and is such a joy. My point is, you should sit back and enjoy the ride. You are already done with your first trimester. The chance of having a mc now is so slim. In the next month or so you will start to feel the baby. I'm sure that will take a load off for you. Enjoy your pregnancy. Because before you know it, you'll have this baby, then he/she will start to walk and talk, and this pregnancy period will seem like a dream =)
