pregnancy after accutane

hi,i really need advice.I took up roaccutane for 2 months,i stop medication oct.3 2010..Last Oct 11 i found out that I'm pregnant so I went immediately to see a doctor.Now they endorsed me to fetu maternity unit to check the condition of my bby.I'm scheduled on Nov.3.I'm very much worried and I can't wait for my sched.Please let me know if my baby is in a risky condition.thank u

Hi!
Unfortunately, judging by the small difference in the dates between when you stopped the medication and when you found out you were pregnant, I'm going to guess that there was probably some exposure of the fetus to accutane.   If you are VERY early, it is possible that the exposure was minimal and the baby will be fine.  If you are further along (most people are 6-8 weeks when they find out) there may have been significant exposure.
The clinic should be able to calculate your dates and determine what the exposure may have been.  I would suggest waiting to do any more reading until you know that information, because you might otherwise scare yourself unnecessarily.
