pregnancy concern

so i found out that i was pregnant about a week ago and late sunday night we ordered food from happys pizza and all that ate got food poisoning knowing i was pregnant i went to the hospital to make sure all was well with baby and they  said my GHB level was 14,564 and they did an ultrasound but they said it was inconclusive that they were unable to tell if it was a normal pregnancy or if it was tubal. But they measured me at 5 weeks and 1 day. I know that is really early for an ultrasound cause i have two boys. Before I had food poisoning i felt what normal pregnancy feels like but i had cramps in my side and back after getting food poisoning. Today i feel alot better but keep having random pains in my side and my back not sure if it is last results of food poisoning or if it is something i should be concerned about? my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 8 months and i will be devastated if i have to terminate the pregnancy due to medical reasons. They are not overwhelming pains just a little uncomfortable kinda like sat in one spot to long pains. I go for more blood work tomorrow for ghb levels. any suggestions on if this sounds normal or not

thank you I was thinking the same thing, I have no bleeding or abdominal cramping its all in my side and my back and thats where the pain originated with the food poisoning.

Cramping in early pregnancy is normal.  As long as it is not severe or accompanied by bleeding its fine. As far as the ultrasound probably too early.  The other pain you feel may be from the food poisoning.   Good luck
