I do that as well megmeg! And if you dont switch back and forth its also easier not to confuse yourself lol
I do that now a well ^ :)
That's why when people ask me how far along I am, I always tell them how many weeks I am instead of months. It's easier for people to understand. So right now I'm 35 weeks or 8 months pregnant but next week I'll be 36 weeks and starting my 9th month of pregnancy.
I know right^ lol I looked like wow maybe it was just me not being educated enough lol
Ahhh I didn't think about that y'all are right... it just gets annoying having to explain it to every person that asks me how far along I am lol
↑everyone replied together lol
Its 10 months if you doing be four. But there are not exactly 4 weeks a month. You can count it that way if its easier but it does make it sound longer. I do it by a different 9 month chart that a lot of doctors use. Its in my journals. But there is two ways to count your pregnancy. I prefer the 9 month chart it makes it seem faster.
Your pregnancy lasts nine months. ..
It only works out at ten LUNAR months because lunar months are counted as blocks of four weeks.
Where as some months have five weeks! :)
9mths or ten its both forty weeks ;)
Well cause if you look at a calendar there are some months that have almost 5 weeks. Not every month is exactly 4 weeks cause that would make the months only 28 days long like the month of February instead of 30 and 31 days which is what most of the months out of the year are.
Not every month has 4 weeks, so they round it, it annoys me too. I went 41 weeks w my daughter got preggo end of jan, ad her end of nov, thats 10 months, just another thing to confuse people with and something for people to argue about lolol
Because they use as the average woman not the true number which the average woman is pregnant for 9 months not 10 some.women give birth before or after that
It depends on if you go by a four week calendar or a traditional calendar because most months are almost five weeks
