progesterone and baby aspirin....anyone????

hi Ladies,

So far all of my reccurent pregnancy loss testing has come back normal after ahving 2 MC's in 5 months.  The doctor said that even if all the remainder of the tests are normal, then he will still put me on the "cocktail" of progesterone and baby aspirin.  Has anyone else had this help them after 2 MC's or any MC's for that matter?

I even just got another phone call that more of my results are normal, which i am grateful for but also worried because i would love to know a reason of why i had these 2 MC's back to back.  I feel so powerless.  but the doctor did say that he thinks i should go on these 2 things even if all results are normal.  SO i guess i will make sure i push him on it.

Now taking these can not hurt my chances at all if my levels are fine can they?

i am just a nervous wreck but honestly thank you all, i was starting to get bummed out that no one has answered me and now all of you great ladies have.  I appreciate it alot.

I was also on progesterone and on baby aspirin. I had 2 miscarr. before this pregnancy. I think you should take them. Don`t hesitate, it is very useful.

I had 2 MC's and had the reoccurent MC testing and I started taking baby asprin daily and progestrone suppliments in my luteal phase and I'm now 5 1/2 months pregnant with healthy B/G twins...I took the prometrium 200 mg orally in the morning and vaginally at night time for the first 11 weeks of my pregnancy....and I still take baby asprin 81 mg in the morning and at night.

i have never had a m/c, but my progestrone levels were on the lower end of normal.  at 6wks it was 15.2.  they gave me progestrone suppositories (which was an interesting experience).  while trying to conceive, i took 100mg of vitamin b6 which i read was also helpful...

YES!!!! ME, that is what I was on!!!   except add lovenox (another blood thinner)... I took the progesterone pill up until 16 weeks.....and the asprin and blood thinners until now too and today I am being induced..... I had 2 m/c, 7 failed IUI's, 3 failed IVF's and got pg. naturally and then was put on that cocktail of drugs.....I think that is what did it!!!  GL to you!!!!  NEVER give up, it will happen!!!  It took us 3 years!!

has anyone had a friend who used this combination?  Any words of advice, encourgament, or just others stories would help right now.
