How long after giving birth did you get your period back?

This is my 2nd child. And yes I am aware of the restrictions but I also know my body. I didn't need stitches or anything bleeding stopped fully after 3 weeks and all the swelling is gone. If sex was painful we wouldn't be doing it. And as far as protection goes it wasn't an issue until two days ago when he decided after 6 years of being fine with having three kids he changed his mind.

And and you can't put anything in your vagna until your fully healed , no douching, no tampons, no sex. Didnt your doctor tell you any of this?

You should get on birth control then. I haven't had my post partum appointment yet so me and my boyfriend are holding off on sex until I can get protected , its so hard but we don't want anynore kids right now so we know what we have to do.
And that's not a question you can really get an answer to because literally all women are different.

2weeks after I give birth but I know if your breastfeeding then your period will be irregular or stop

Tuesday I will be at 5 weeks since my daughter was born and I haven't started mine back. With my son I started back at 4 1/2 weeks.
