Honestly speaking what helped you go into labor? (Personal experience)

If you feel you want s a membrane sweep, it never hurts to ask your doctor and don't let anyone make you feel bad for asking and for wanting one. I'm on my 5th baby and I completely understand being achy and sore everywhere, tired and drained waiting for your little one to arrive.pregnancy is ruff on the body. By 37 weeks I've always felt ready for the baby to come lol

My doctor has done a sweep during 3 out of 4 of my pregnancies at 37 weeks pregnant for me. It all depends on your doctor and how they feel about it. All they do is take their finger and move them around in a circle motion inside your cervix to separate the sac from the wall and release a hormone called oxytocin. The membrane sweep has helped me to dilate but I did castor oil with my last pregnancy and that kick started labor for me. But my body was ready and I was 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Most doctors will do a membrane sweep at 37 weeks. But not sooner.

They most likely won't do a sweep at 37 weeks, they will tell u that baby still has time. I wouldn't suggest one unless ur at least a minimum of 38 weeks but even more if u can.

My doctor did the sweep at my appointment when she was checking for dilation. She just separated the bag of waters from the wall

Sex ! Apparently there is something in sperm that they used to use to induce women . I had sex then not even an hour later was in labor and had my son within a few hours

I got my membranes stripped then went for a long walk (where incidentally I got beat up by a large teenage boy with mental problems) went into labor thr next day. Either the membrane sweep or the chaos of the assault idk lol

Castor oil an oj. It only works I was told if your already having contractions. I took 1 tbsp of castor oil and half glass of oj.
