quitting

Have any of you moms quit your job while pregnant how far along were you? I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and I'm so fed up with my job I'm on my feet for 8 hours. Or am I just being dramatic?

I'm not going to quit... yet. However, I'm going to see if I can get transferred or something. I was a Sales Associate, but prefer a full-time job. I need more  $ ASAP, especially, since the baby's here!

Try to stay at work even though it ***** as long as you can. It gets terribly boring at home. And it will help to keep you healthy being up and about. Try frequent breaks. I hated working my boyfriend had me quit at 34 weeks been home sense but now I am 38 weeks and hardly any walking around.  You need to stay healthy or your pregnancy and delivery will be harder. I hurt almost constantly now because I never get to walk around or do anything. I tried walking yesterday and I couldn't even make it around the complex. -_- that's bad

I didn't quit my job.  I worked part time 32 hours a week on my feet.  8 hours a day and my job doesn't allow breaks unless you pay for their food.  And that's only a 5 to 10 min break.  I stopped working at 35 weeks because my doctor told me i had to.  I wouldn't quit unless your doctor tells you to

I quit at 32 weeks. I was doing housekeeping at a cabin lodge and it was way to dangerous for comfort. I was lifting way to,much weight, working with chemicals I shouldn't have been, and was constantly alone so if something had happened nobody could have known.

I quit when I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks lol I worked at a bar and didn't want to be around all the smoke while pregnant plus the 1st trimester was the hardest on me somehow lol I'm 35 weeks now and feel a lot better than I did when I first got pregnant. I don't regret leaving but I was upset I couldn't find any when or in my 2nd trimester when I started developing a little bump no one wanted to hire a pregnant woman! I gave up looking for work at 7 months and just did things on the side to bring in money like lessons or pet sitting

I quit working at 37 weeks, so a week ago lol im 38 now. My job doesn't offer maternity leave so basically I had to just quit and if I want to go back he'll rehire me. But i'm not going back there. I'm actually gonna go back and finish up my schooling (college) full time once my daughter is born. Getting pregnant with her has actually kick started my life and is giving me that boost of confidence to make it better for her and myself. I'm truly excited about the future now, and I have her to thank for that. :)

I am still working, I'm 39 weeks. I worked at a restaurant until I was 4 months then I got hired at a less strenuous job to finish off my pregnancy. I got very lucky, my maternity leave is set for Friday which is 4 days before my due date. It's hard but not that hard on me, I never wanted to quit because I'm a person who will die of boredom but I wish I could have taken at least a week before I had the baby to relax and pamper myself. I can't afford that right now.

I quit mine at 13 weeks and moved across the country... I worked at a bakery.. the hardest part of my job was dealing with co workers. I loved my job but my life at home with my mom was horrible so me and my man moved away. And I can say i thought i would love being home and enjoying the pregnancy. But im so bored. Allbi do is sleep eat and clean. It *****.but. As long as you are stable enough or have someone who will support you and pay for all those baby needs.. its your choice to quit

You are so not being dramatic. I quit at like 16 weeks because of other reasons but i know if i were still working i would not be able to handle it. Im 27 weeks as well and i cannot stand on my feet for even a short amount of time without getting out of breath. I even fainted in the store at 25 weeks so i dont blame you!

I quit mine really early due to lifting restrictions. (At 11 weeks) They were trying to work with me but I found myself doing things I really shouldn't have been. My husband and I decided it would be safer for baby and I if i became a stay at home wife. My husband is the primary supporter. My job was basically our play money. The extra 400 a month definitely would have helped but we didn't want to make my complications worse.       If the household can financially handle you not working and your man is good with it. Then go for it.
