A couple of weeks ago I had a rash on both legs. I think I was about 14 weeks. I finally realized that I was allergic to my new sweat pants. Anyway, I took benedryl for the rash and my dr said it was fine. Have you changed anything recently that might cause this?

That sounds like what I had and it was a nut allergy that appeared while pregnant and if I eat even one my belly and tops my legs get covered every thing hurts and makes it itchy as hell try to keep and eye on it and if something makes it worse but I'd try useing a unscented body wash and stay away from nuts and go to your doctor as they can do tests to help you they will check your liver if its not that then they will test you for allergies but places like asda lloyeds do the allergy tests to

What does the rash look like ? I had a rash on my belly and leg and the  rash was red and very itchy and burned when the cold hit it but went to my midwife she checked my liver but it turned out I had a peanut allergy
Or something new you've taken
Or a allergy to something you have showers in
Or something you have washed your cloths in if you have changed it over the last fuw days
Just a couple of idears as its what sets my skin off hope this helps love x

Could just be having an allergic reaction to something. I would take benedryl since it is perfectly safe and see if it goes away...if it doesnt I wwould get it checked out. But more than likely if you go get checked out without trying benedryl they would probably just end up giving it to you anyways

should I worry that this could harm my baby? I'm a first time mum and I usually ask my mum some questions about anything that's wrong but she's unsure about the rash too

Sounds like hives. Maybe take benedryl?
