really need help doc

hi doc my name is dee and i had my last period on nov 25 i am like clock work with 27 day periods and all i missed my period on the 21 of dec i took 4 hpts and all negative i have been having unprotected sex every day a couple times a day with my fiance for the past 6 months can u help me so i dont goto the doc and look silly

Hi!
No one will think you are silly if you go in to the doctor's office with that story.  The best advice I can give you is to find an office that does complimentary tests.  I'm assuming that you are "trying" because if you're not, you could also ask for some birth control.
If you are trying, I would give my own patient a dose of Prometrium.  This is a nice medication, because if you are not pregnant, it starts your period for you.  If you are pregnant, it helps to prevent miscarriage.
Best bet, go see your MD!

my mom had that problem with me. you should go into the dr anyways and tell them you want a blood test, if it still comes back negative, ask the dr if it's possible you're pregnant and if so why are the tests coming back negative. my dr told my sister the one time that if the blood came back negative after multiple HPT did, they would've done a sono.. maybe yours will do that for you? Don't feel like you'll look silly... you have no idea how common this is.
