@Mommy2jayden
I'm with wic in Collin County.
I do however believe its only a rental and not to keep though. I was told its brand new though.
Oh that would be AWESOME!!
I jus read your post about wic giving away a free pump....I jus signed up for it....and do they do it California??
WIC varies by state, so it's probably the same all through texas
What part of Texas I want to brestfeed and need a electric pump new not used
I know, I'm thankful for that. :)
I live in Texas and they provide you with a brand new duo electric pump.
About the electric pump- I read one if your recent posts about wic.. if you are on wic they will provide you with a pump after your baby is born, so that will also save you a few hundred dollars. :)
just remember ladies you will get alot of the stuff u need for the first year at the baby shower
ahhh I'm sooo excited now! I didn't want to have to have my family bring my baby to my breaks at work and school just so I could breast feed him lol
Electric, in Wisconsin, its brand new you get one even if you sometimes supplement with formula, comes with a carrying case and you keep it forever! woohoo!
I looked it up online and South Carolina does give you a pump
lol I've heard the hand pumps are so hard to deal with. I'd rather just whip out my boob everywhere I go lol
Electric and the one in Oregon is 300$
well hopefully WIC will provide something here, seeing as how they try to promote breast feeding so much. either way, I'm breast feeding.lol
There was a place my wic nurse could refer me to but it was a hand pump and my mom said you don't even wanna mess w that lol
i believe electric if she said its worth $700 haha but who really nos
thanks yall! and is the pump that WIC provides a hand pump or electric? and I'm in south carolina, so I'll have to call the WIC office and see if they provide one, or at least a discount on one. I know you can buy pumps here from the hospital for a discounted price, and even though they change all the tubing and stuff, I really don't want a used pump for sanitary purposes.
The pump w wic depends on where you live. Here in Illinois they don't do that. But check target I got an electric single one for 40$
Wic does the same thing in OR one pump for all your pregnancies it's a super nice one too. Both my sis and sis in law have them and love them.
yu should ask them at yur next appointment.... the lady told me they really support breatsfeeding thats why they give them out... i honestly dnt no if every state does it but she told me that
