Experience with Zoloft during pregnancy??

I won't go into detail about why I'm asking, if you would like to know you can read my journal entry.  I'm just wondering if anyone has taken Zoloft while pregnant.  If so, what was your doseage, did you take it the entire pregnancy or just part and did your baby having any affects from it?  What did your doctor say could be possible effects on the baby from it?  

I'd like to get some "real life" experiences before I make a decision as to whether or not to go back on it while i'm pregnant.  I'm currently 24 weeks.

from what i have heard, prozac is one of the safer medications while pregnant.  i have never had to take them but when i ran a program i had a pregnant female and the doctor would only allow her to take prozac.  your doctor would know best though.

Thanks!  From what I have found it hasn't been linked to any birth defects but there is a higher chance of pulmonary hypertension after birth if it's taken during the 3rd trimester.  I did take it while I was breastfeeding and didn't have any issues.  I'm just scared to take anything while I'm pregnant.

Hey I don't mind posting publicly. I had some major problems with anxiety and panic attacks before I ever got pregnant (I was taking effexor and klozopam at pretty high dosages) and then I went off of the meds and got pregnant. My PCM then put me on zoloft (not sure of the dosage but the lowest you could go) but I had a few problems with it and I seemed that I was able to control everything better on my own. I hope that you get some good advice and from what I understand it is perfectly okay for the baby because it doesn't pass the placenta.
