sad day:(

So I went to my ultrasound today , my Dr ordered an early one because I have had some bad cramping and he wanted to make sure I wasn't having a tubal pregnancy, so clearly today the baby was in my uterus and no signs of a miscarriage.  He had also said the same thing last week,  that he didn't see anything concerning but wanted an ultrasound... well they called and said  there was no heart beat :( I got a call from my nurse saying we will try another ultrasound in 3days , and if we couldn't find a heartbeat I was most likely miscarring! My last period was June 2nd they say that puts me at 6weeks , I'm clearly pregnant but I don't understand how I'm miscarring or there's no heartbeat! :(

My doctor wouldnt see me until i was 8 weeks, due to the fact the heart beat is more visable in a sense. 6 weeks is still pretty early, id request if it isnt emergent, that they do another ultrasound at 8 weeks.

I heard my first babys heartbeat at 9weeks . So this is way early to me , after Thursdays ultrasound I have a Drs apt next Thursday again to follow up. I also think I should wait &see , I'm thinking there is a chance I'm not as far along as 6weeks ... I hope everything is okay

The heart usually starts beating around 6 weeks, though sometimes it takes a little longer. You won't necessarily have any symptoms and you can still miscarry. It's called a missed miscarriage. Your body doesn't recognize the baby isn't developing and keeps thinking it's pregnant essentially. I don't think that's what you're experiencing,  just letting you know. Even if you don't see the heart beat in 3 days I wouldn't let them do anything until they follow up later.

See I don't understand how the nurse said I'm miscarring, I don't feel anything. I have had cramps here & there.. nothing I couldn't deal with!
