can i dye my hair?

I'm 7 months, and i really wanna so something different with my hair....if i can't that's fine ill get extensions lol..

But my moms preggo to and bleached a piece of her hair and dyed it, so does that mean i can? Lol...serious question.

yea that's pretty much why I wanna wait lol , lord knows I'd get a funky color with my luck ! I only have 2 months left so I'd just wait.

My doctor told me its fine after your in your second trimester but I would suggest going to get it done and telling them your pregnant rather than doing it yourself.

Mommytobe is right the color might not take as well, or might take a slightly different color than you were wanting. Its because of all the extra horomones. But I did hair for 5 years... I have 2 boys and am 34weeks preggo. It is perfectly safe to color your hair. There are so many cosmetologists out there working throughout their whole pregnancy...dont you think their doctors would advise them to quit while preggo if it was bad? Lol The warnings that used to be given against coloring was back in the day when the chemicals in haircolor were more toxic than they are nowadays. Now they dont use as harsh of chemicals in them. Just make sure if you decide to do it that it is in a well ventilated area because the smell of some brands can make you nauseous since us preggos have an increased sense of smell. Plus Ji you are that worried about it, there are all natural haircolors out there that dont have any chemicals at all. Not trying to talk you into it just making sure that you are informed :)

I've been wanting a change with my hair! I wanna do purple, lol  Alota people tell me it's okay, but I'd rather wait. I'm duee in July so I'm just gonna wait. plus I heard the color might not turn out the way you want lol

I wanna go platinum, but I'm most def waiting til after my booger is here..I'm just Talkin like not even all the way to my scalp just enough where i can do what i want..i could always get extensions, the clip ons.

A ton of people will say its perfectly fine but i'm just  like her I wouldnt do it either. I would love to cause I have dirty blonde and I due mine to seriously platinum blonde lol so thank god dark roots with blonde is in style! Haha (this is what my cosmopolitan tells me anyway haa)

you can dye your hair but there are some risk to it, i would advice you to wait just a little longer. but bleach is bad, i asked my doctor about it.
