Ok so I just came back from the store to try and get things I can eat that won't make me sick. I have meds but they make me sleepy so I'm trying another route. I brought green apples, lemon, pretzels, ginger root (put in hot water or tea) and ginger snap cookies. I'm hoping one of those will work. Lemon water is good too. :D .

I am 11weeks pregnant and i am in the same boat as you. I am never very hungry and when i do eat i dont eat much and get full fast. I have lost 6lbs already. Everyone says it is normal in the begining and not to worry that you will be eating a ton later. I take my prenatals Every day! I have yet to be sick during my pregnancy.. i actually have been paranoid cause i dont feel any different now then i did not pregnant. So it makes me wonder if everything is ok. I work in a hospital so i had a doppler done.. heartbeat is still there! hehe
Something that helped my appetite was the ginger they give you at the sushi places. I couldn't handle ginger candy, it was gross to me.
Also, Lemon water.
thank u now at least i know i am not abnormal thank u for the tips i will use them and i will ask my dr about the calcium because i can not drink milk it makes me really sick
I agree, just make sure your getting your prenatals, and POSSIBLY an extra calcium supplament if your doctor advises you to. Because when I was pregnant with my son and couldn't eat alot, he sucked the calcium out of my bones so when I fell after having him I injured my back.
I was sick for 25 weeks during my first pregnancy and my son was fine. expirament with different foods to see what you like and will help you get an appetite. Your appetite should return sometime around 12 weeks. :)
as long as your taking your prenatal vitimins dont be too worried, i was the same way with my pregnancy. Not very hungry at all for a bit, but then i was eating all the time lol. My son is perfectly healthy at 10months and was during the whole pregnancy. The being sick with certain foods is also normal. But if its making you sick i suggest not having it anymore? Your only supposed to have up to 3 cups of caffinated beverages a day... But some say even 3 cups is too much
