I'm pregnant and I watch scary movies and sad movies and happy movies. My baby is perfectly fine. I agree with cbreeziw, it's not like you're terrified forever or depressed. It's only in the moment and my mom loves scary movies so I'm sure she watched a ton while she was pregnant with me and I'm completely normal.

Lol I just imagined saying "oh no honey, I can't watch scary movies, I'm pregnant". Haha that sounds pretty funny, but I've watched tons of scary movies and baby is perfectly fine. There is a difference between being depressed while prego and being scared for a little bit. You tense up the same way from coughing, sneezing, and throwing up, as being scared.

Watch whatever you want to! I am 29 weeks pregnant and have watched horror movies all throughout my pregnancy. Just went to the movies to see one yesterday. It had A LOT of jumpy parts. My baby is just fine and so am I! It's absurd to think that watching a movie will have any impact on the well being of your child. Just my opinion though.

Better not to watch scary movies or movies that makes you sad. Your state of mind will affect your baby greatly. Always try to do things that make you happy. I personally wouldn't have watched it

Personally yes it's bad because if you get scared your baby gets scared and you don't want a baby who gets scared easy once born or at all of corse
