sleep :(

Lol so I'm 22+3 and I know people said it was going to be difficult to sleep but jeez this is terrible!! I have to get up at 7 am every morning and every other weekend I have my little sister who's 13 that I care for(our mom didn't want girls apparently) but I'm up and down all night and aren't getting enough sleep and end up sleeping during the day. Do any of you ladies have the same problem? Do you have any suggestions as to how to help it some? I'd really appreciate it

Im sure if you sit her down and explain this to her she'll understand. I had to have this same talk with my 13yr old son and explain to him about why I haven't been able to do more things with him and spend more time. I reminded him how much I loved him and what it meant and was like to be pregnant and how this was all temporary. He understands even though sometimes it still makes you feel a little guilty! Just do what you can (trust me I know it's hard) and remember that it will pass :)

I have the same issue. I'm only a week ahead of you at 23weeks+5days. I'm sleeping maybe 15 hours a day? And i'm always SO exhausted! Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different I just don't remember being this exhausted with my 1st child. Although he is 13yrs old now so it's been a long time but I just don't feel like I have the energy to do anything, it's really frustrating :(

Ugh it gets worse the farther along! I'm 34+6 and I sleep an average of like 3 hours at a time, then I'll wake up for about half an hour or so, then wake up again. My midwife told me that I was allowed to take benadryl or that new zzzquil sleep aid to help me sleep if I wanted, but I'm not comfortable personally doing that, but that's what I was told. Ask your doc about it maybe! :)
