Hi Dr B,

Thanks for the reply. Actually the thing is that I started getting this pain since yesterday night and the pain doesnt seem to be going away!!! It keeps recurring every 10-15 minutes and is still there!!! Is this due to some nerve getting pinched or something else??I have been taking decent amount of dietary calcium and through supplements as well but not sure of potassium though!!! Do you recommend some supplement or through dietary intake- pl suggest??

Also suggest if a mild pain killer will help- pl help.

Hi!
It could be related to your pregnancy.  Lots of people get funny pains and charly horses in their calves, and we think its related to electrolytes.  I usually advise:  extra calcium and extra potassium, lots of fluid, massage and regular gentle exercise.  If all that doesn't help you can try heat or ice or Tylenol.

It does go away after baby is born!

Congratulations!
Dr B
