sick at 29 weeks

I've had a bad bacterial throat infection for the past few days with sinus issues and fever.. I can't shake it no matter how much water or soup I eat and I can't breathe! I can't take antibiotics so I take benadryl and Tylenol when I must.

This mommy is miserable and tired of sleeping all the time.

Yes I know it. I had strep once already in the beginning of my pregnancy. I'm considering going to urgent care just to get something. I'm terrified that something will happen to my baby girl if i don't.

That's very dangerous. If you happened to have strep, if left untreated can lead to cardiac problems and kidney issues... I understand not wanting to give/take drugs unnecessarily but there are occasions where they are warranted! Also most antibiotics are completely safe during pregnancy and pose no risk to the baby.

My doctor will not allow it because it will harm the baby. My hospital is anti-drug and I think is stupid but he says it will run its course?

Why can't you take antibiotics? If you do in fact have a bacterial infection that's the only thing to clear it up.
