Tight stomach all the time, some cramping, and im getting diarrhea (sorry tmi) But could this be a sign of labor near,.... Im due the 6th but i havent dilated or effaced any.. can you go into labor with out dilating right away?

Yes that could happen. I just had my son January 1st & my water broke so they gave me pitocin to start the contractions more & get me dilated more. Good luck.

You can go into labor without dilating, yes. I was born like that! My mom's water broke but had no contractions or previous dilation. Had to go to hospital and get started on pitocin for contractions.
