Signs of ovulation:
-discomfort/pinching sensation on one of your ovaries (felt VERY low in your abdomen, somewhat above your hips)
-PMS type symptoms (moody)
Also, you will have a discharge when your body prepares for ovulation and while it is ovulating. The last day of discharge is the day you actually ovulate. Once you ovulate you will become "dry" again (no discharge). Since it's hard to know the last day until the last day is past, the rule is to BD (have sex) whenever you have EWCM (egg white cervical mucous- mucous that has the appearance of raw egg whites; crystal clear and really stretchy).
thanks for that, i will keep an eye for all of those and bd when ever we can, i am sure that will please hubby lol!!
ps:- congrats on the pregnancy xxx
I just wanted to add, also, you might want to try using ovulation predictor kits, so at the same time, if you get a positive you can be watching for the signs and symptoms that joy just mentioned.
If you're regular you ovulate about 14 days BEFORE your period is due. So that will help give you a time-frame to start looking for ovulation symptoms.
thanks, i happened to notice yesterday they where doing a special offer on the ovulation kits in the pharmacy so i think i will pop down and get some tomorrow, thanks for all your advice girls i really appreciate it, i also have an appointment with my doc next week to talk about metformin for the pcos and the weight loss, so with all this combined fingers crossed i will get my bfp xxxx
