It wont cause any problems. I am obese and have 2 boys. 1 with Autism and the other we're going to have evaluated. I was told that my weight had nothing to do with either of them.

Im not a big girl always been a size 8-10 and I have a 3 yr old who has high functioning autism. I don't thibk weight has anything to do with autism. Don't be scared of autism. I wouldnt trade my son for nothing and I have never wished that he wasn't autistic. I feel like I was extremely lucky to be chosen to have such a special little boy :-)

I was a size 22 when I had my son and he is a happy healthy almost 2 year old now. I think these reports are really just to scare people into losing weight.

No, not unless there is a big health risk with yourself tks begin with. I'm bigger than you and 25+1 and my boy is so happy and moving with a perfect heartbeat. My Dr just keeps an eye out for high blood pressure and diabetes.  You should be fine, If you have any concerns you should speak to your Dr or midwife
