About 15 cigarettes a day but once i figured it out i cut it down to 10 for about a day then 5-7 for about a week then i just stopped. I really wanted to quit though so my motivation was at like 100% just picture your little baby...best motivation ever:)

I smoked about 15-20 depending on the day, but I just would go down to 12 then 8 then when I got to about 5 is when I got sick but you just have to remind yourself that everything you expose yourself to is also exposing the baby, my friends midwife told her if she smoked 1-3 cigs a day it won't effect the baby (she smoked a lot before she got preggers) but she has a happy healthy 2 yr old now

I was the same way, my doc said to wein myself off because if you quit it can shock the baby but I slowly weaned myself off till about 8 wks and started feeling sick now every time I smell or even think about smoking I feel sick to my stomach and I haven't smoked for almost 5 months, she said the same for caffeine and working out too
