chronic smoker quitting at two months

I'm due Jan 31..I used to be a chronic smoker..and today I'm two months, I'm pretty sure I tested positive arty my first visit seeing as I don't know I was pregnant they can't do anything about that, but today I hit a roach to get my appetite up. I DEFINITELY didn't smoke a joint and plan not to. If I test positive still in two weeks even if I quit, will that cause problems, if I tested negative at birth..Will they keep testing me at all my appts? I want a healthy baby, freefof bronchial issues do I'm quitting early on instead of in my last trimester, so please keep the I'm selfish comments to yourself..thank you :)

Thank you ladies, it's hard and emotional dealing with financial stress and BD working all day, coming home to smoke and drink..good other son has sinus issues, like him and this is my first baby, I want him to be as healthy as the good Lord will allow. I'll let them know when I go in on July 8th that I've been trying to quit..hopefully they'll be understanding. I really don't care if they get dcf involved, they can come check out my house, for all I care..no worries there.

Just explain your trying. I doubt they would test you that soon cause it takes about 30 days to get out of your system. At least your quitting for your baby. Keep in there, good luck, and congrats on your baby. That's my grandmothers birthday my baby due jam 13 on my grandfather's birthday lol. It's always easy to remember their birthdays cause they are reverse.
