Signs of Labor?

Has anyone ever experienced NO signs of labor approaching and within a couple of hours or a day or two ended up going into labor? I ask because I am currently 39+2weeks and so far havent really had any signs. I want to know there is hope my baby girl can come with me having no signs leading to labor. I dont want to go past my due date or have to be induced. Anyway, please answer if you have experienced this, I would love to hear your story!

With me 3 yr old i went in to my regular check up wit no pain or nothing i was 38 +3 n they conected some belt on my belly were they detect contractions..n my doc. Told me that i was having contactions n she was suprised bcus i didnt feel a thing n i was also dilated to a 4...my water broked at 38+5 @6 am n my bby was here at 1:52 pm.. that was my expieriance with my 1st .. so hopefully with this bby i dnt feel n e contractions either cus the hospitol ima give birth is 1hr away..

Same, I woke up one morning to pee and make a sandwich when I was done. I never got my sandwich :( lol my water broke right there

That happened to me. I woke up at 4 am and felt 2 contractions in that hour well I went to the bathroom and came back and laid down. Well I felt really weird and wet down there so I walked back to the bathroom and my water broke at 5 am. Those contractions were the only thing leading up to my labor.
