VERY WORRIED ABOUT OVERHEATING 23 weeks pregnant

Hello! I am very worried. Last night I put a heating pad under my back to relieve some lower back aches. I am 23 weeks. It was about 1 in the morning. Approximately 3 hours later I awoke laying on my side still on the sleeping pad and my belly was very warm. Could I of damaged my baby with the warmth? The left side of my stomach was on the sleeping pad...as I slept sort of twisted. Please help. Many thanks

I am sure everything is fine, but if you are very worried you can always call your OB's office.  Maybe take kick counts to ease your mind, and stay cool!

It should be fine. It wasn't too long. I'd ask your dr about it tell them you want to use it but is it safe if you fall asleep an end up w it on your tummy in the night. I know many drs suggest heating pads to help w back aches in pregnancy
