Thank you ladies, right now I'm trying warm lemon water, it's soothing the soreness but I think I put too much lemon because my eyes can't stop twitching haha

Apple cider vinegar!  Did wonders for me both times my husband brought home a bad cold. Honey in tea and definitely gargling with salt water!  Hope you feel better!
