spending the night elsewhere

I am 18 and my child's father and I don't live together. We are together now. But I'm sure it will be times where I'll won't to send him (my baby) without going. I may need a break. I fully trust this my child's father will take care of him properly. But I'm not sure when it's appropriate to send him on his own without me???

Whenever you're comfortable and ready! There's no real "appropriate time". When your little one gets here you're probably not going to want him away from you overnight for at least a few weeks. I know I'm not going to let my son out of my sight for awhile lol

If you're not breast feeding anytime that is comfortable with you. It's not like you're sending him off with your friend or aunt.
