strep b?
I just got my results back and im strep b positive. Anybody else be positive for it? Please im worried and I want to know your stories. Oh and im also allergic to penicillin....
I had it, as long as you get the antibiotics you should have nothing to worry about. I was kinda worried at first. But when. That day came, I forgot about it. Especially when you feel the contractions.. you forget everything. I forgot to breathe.. ha. Bad idea.
36 wks they test you for it. Ihad it b4 like she said ^ nurse will out antibiotics thru ur IV & baby & yourself should b fine . No worries.
Mine was negative, but don't worry about it. If your water breaks you need to go to the hospital right away but other than that there is no need to worry. The will just put you on an IV with antibiotics during delivery.
Morgan, strep b is an infection that woman can get that could be passed to the baby at birth. They don't check it until 36 weeks.
