stretch and sweep

so today is my seconds sweep and i was just wondering how many mums have had this second one and found it successful? i am hoping it will start labour for me as the day after my first one i lost my mucus plug. im 41w1d and just soo ready to meet my little kicker.
can anyone advise me or anything useful to say?

It's rubbish when nothing happens but it's one step closer to meeting your little one :-) I'm getting induced on Wednesday, can't friggin wait although I don't want to be, I just want her here now. Good luck! X

had my sweep... got mild period pains straight after. nothings really changed. im booked in for induction on sunday... dont really wanna be induced.
now looking for peoples experiences on being induced x

Hate being over !! Hopefully it works for you! My hospital are only letting me go over 10 days so it's not as bad but they should give you a sweep today & book you an induction date, because even if you don't need it, it can be cancelled. Demand to them to get a wriggle on :) x

it really depends on the person i guess. because alot of women say the second one worked for them.
i hope it does. if not i hope they discuss induction with me today because i mean im 2 week overdue on sunday!x

I had 2 sweeps Hun and nothing:( may be different for you though because I didn't lose my mucus plug until my second one :) but I'm in the hospital tomorrow & getting induced! Good luck! X
