stripping membranes

Does stripping membranes hurt?  It sounds pretty painful...but I heard its effective.

My sister had it done twice and it didn't help either time. It works for some but not others. Don't get your hopes up just to be dissapointed.

Didnt hurt me...& i went in labor the same day

well out of the 3 times i had it done it hurt once

Ive had mine scraped 3times....and it only hurt one of the times but it wasnt too bad

No it doesn't gift it just feels uncomfortable.
