I think I had replied to your post a few hours ago. I had one with my son and bled from 7-17 weeks and everything turned out just fine,he is now 19 months old. The fact that it is old blood and you are not bleeding suggests it is healing fine on its own. If you just take it easy it should be almost cleared up by your next visit.

I experieinced the same thing right around 7 weeks. I went to the emergency room (just my luck I started bleeding on a Friday after 5pm) and was told that I had a subchronic hemmorage. They told me to take it easy till I could get in to see my doctor for further analysis (my first appointment was the following Friday). My bleeding lasted for about 10 days. Once my OB took a look at me with the internal U/S and ran my hcg levels she said that, eventhough we will never know for sure, it could have been a loss of a twin. My levels were really high for a singleton as well as the sac was on the big side. The rest of my pregnancy I never had another major issue just the normal aches and pains of pregnancy. 9 months laster I had a healthy baby boy.

That is interesting that they discovered the hemmorage during the u/s and you have not had any bleeding externally. Since they said not to worry I am sure things will be ok. If you do start bleeding I would definitely call your doct to update them on your status. Take it easy till your next u/s to see if it has gotten any better. Did they put you on weekly u/s to monitor you?

Best of luck.
