I know pools and the ocean are just fine, but to watch out for water that is to hot and stagnant water like in ponds and Rivera. they harbor much more bacteria!

Mommygg, I know it *****. I usually go swimming in a local river every year but not this summer. Id rather not risk getting an infection though. They just say not to because of all the bacteria in the water.

You can't swim in anything that has hot water like a hot tub but it is summer so I'm sure you won't be in a hot tub lol Pools are perfectly fine swim all you want. I heard that rivers ponds and lakes you can swim in them just in moderation like everything else

I haven't heard that. My doctor said to not swim in any lakes, rivers or ponds because of all the germs and stuff that could easily cause an infection. Pools on the other hand, I was told that they're fine as long as it's clean.
