Try massaging it. Or a hot shower. Let the water run on them. That's what helps me.
Try heating some dry rice tied in a clean sock and apply it to the tender area. Make sure you are drinking plenty! I've used this method twice in the past few months with excellent results.
If it feels like it's bruised it might be a blocked duct. I had that feeling on my left breast at the side, had to continuously feed my son and pump from my left side to drain it properly. Get your dr to check it out
