third trimester, bowling?

What's your opinion on bowling in late pregnancy? I hear it's ok as long as it's a light ball , you bend from your knees and if you start hurting to stop.

As to others it's not a good idea because you can pull the placenta from the wall?

The subject just came up because a friend want me to join them tonight but in honesty I'm afraid of trying. Maybe I'll just sit until it's time to eat

I was was 26weeks with this baby when i went bowling for my hubbys bday. I used the least ball (6 lbs). I bowled till i felt tired or pain which was about hr into game.  It be fine,  just rest or stop if you start feeling tired or pain

I bowl all the time and plan to continue through my pregnancy. My ball is 11 lbs and my only fear is maybe tipping over lol

I went last weekend and I was 21 weeks. I used a number 9 ball and it was fine I did get a lil sore from bending down and a sore wrist. Then I had a docs appointment 5 days later and everything was fine. I say try it with a light ball and if you dont feel comfortable with yourself just dont do it.

I know a friend who bowled her entire pregnancy but this was 3 years ago, so much is changing lol. I heard they have a "pregnancy ball". Don't know how true that is but I'm going to ask

I've never thought about that, but I'd think if you use a light ball and know your limits you would be fine.
