I feel my son a lot and more and more as weeks go by I'm 26 weeks and even tho I thought 27 or 28 wks marked the third trimester this app apparently says I just started it today  ... I feel like I should start counting lol he is constantly moving so I'm not worried just wondering

My midwife and doc said not 10 in an hour 10 a day! 10 in an hour can be very worrying to do when all babies have different patterns of movement! I personally went in to hospital last week because I didn't get the 10 in an hour and every midwife and doctor told me that it was 10 a day and anyway most pregnant women know what kind of movement routine there baby had!

My doctor has me count 10 kicks in an hour once a day.I've had 2 docs and they have both told me to do it. They gave me a worksheet and they say after you eat to Lay down and relax and count every movement you feel for an hour but once you hit ten you're good.

You really don't ever have to count. Baby will sleep and move as they please but you should feel baby a few times a day. Its when you don't feel baby for a long time that you should drink cold juice, lie down with hand on tummy, and count to make sure you feel them about 10 times in 2 hours. But counting kicks is older advice, most drs don't have you do that regularly, just in the situation I explained
