emergency ultrasound? need help.. 28 weeks

Me and my baby's father just got into a really bad argument & he got violent with me bc I wouldn't take him back. He punched me really hard on my back twice.. he never hit ny stomach but he grabbed my neck while I was sitting and pushed me all the way forward & was holding me down that way. I got away and did go to police and I am getting a restraining order but I am so so worried about my little one. I have an appointment tomorrow with my ob, if I tell her what happened will they do an emergency ultrasound to check on baby or will she just check for his heart beat like she normally does? Please don't judge my situation,  I wouldn't intentionally put my baby or myself in harm's way I just want everything to be okay.

Yes I feel fine just very sore in the places he grabbed and hit me. I'm feeling a little movement but not as much as he usually moves which is why I'm worried. But I will put it all in God's hands and try not to worry. He is definitely no good for me or our baby..my son deserves the best and if it takes leaving someone who harms us that is what I have to do no matter how much I love him.

My doctor also told me it takes a lot more than you think to harm the baby!! She said that they are pretty safe in their little balloon in their. Don't stress yourself out because that is harmful for the baby. I'm so sorry about your situation. My baby daddy is abusive as well... I moved 1500 miles away from him to make sure myself and my unborn son are safe. Stay away from him sweety.. and good luck!!

.anyone who would do that 2 any women..but especially a preg women..is aterrible person!..sorry u had 2 go tnru that...I wish u the best..but..when u go 2 the hospitalmaybe exaggerate a  lil 2 make sure they do everything they possibly can do 2 make sure ur bbaby is ok..and I pray baby is.ok..best of luck hun

When I got into a car accident at the beginning of my pregnancy my doctor told me the same. It's good knowing they are well protected inside if us but it's just more reassuring to know for sure. Thanks for the encouragement ladies

It dieant hurt to ask tell her your situation and tell her youd be more relaxed getting an ultrasound done i had soitting in my first trimester went to the hospital and they nade one so i think youll get one as well sorry you had to go through that glad you stood up for urself and your baby hope everything goes well

my ex pushed my down a flight of stairs with my first baby an eveeything was fine my doctor told me it takes alot to harm the baby so stay calm go get checked an everything will be ok

It just depends on the doctor I think if you ask for an ultrasound they will give you one but they will check the baby's heartbeat too I'm sorry that happen to you good luck with everything
