Try clove oil on a piece of cotton. Stick it in the cavity and it dull the nerve. Either that or there is temporary filling stuff at walmart that I swear was sent straight from heaven lol.

I had a tooth extracted when I was about 8-9 weeks pregnant and I had a healthy baby girl. Just make sure they take extra precautions when x-raying your mouth. Maybe he's saying not now because they wouldn't be able to numb you properly with just Novocain and they'd have to knock you out?

I had a wisdom tooth removed at 11weeks, i was scared that the numbing shots were going to affect baby. But im 16w now and babys fine, ive been seeing my dentist alot since i reached my second trimester, they usually make sure to take extra care with pregnant ladies :). Try rinsing with warm salt water, helps out a little. But i would also get a second opinion from another dentist if the pain is too severe, that cant b good for baby either if your in pain..

Maybe get a second opinion? i had an infected wisdom tooth removed when i was 12weeks. an infected tooth can lead to ablot of problems. but do what you think is safe for you and your babies. i know how bad the pain can be, mine kept me up in pain all.night sometimes.

I agree, I also read that routine cleanings and preventative treatments are recommended and urgen things that cannot wait which your problem sounds this way should be addressed ASAP.
Congrats on the babies!

See a dentist. It is very important to have good dental hygiene during pregnancy. You don't want your mouth to get infected. Good luck with those twins. Mine will be here any day.
