Walking, squating, pineapple,evening primrose oil, and intercourse are all good ways to Kick start contractions. Don't do anything internally if your waters break due to infection. Also sitting and GENTLY bouncing on a yoga ball can help but mostly patience :) your almost done.
I feel so similar to you, 39+2 due on Saturday, and am gettin so impatient lol Ive tried walking, and just ate a bunch of pineapple tonight (fresh i heard is better) and hoping for good news when I go to my doctor tomorrow. One of my friends just had her baby 6 weeks early, and I couldnt be any more anxious for the arrival of my little prince now!! They come when they are ready!!
