ultrasound gel?

Iv been reading about dopplers the pros cons and reviews iv decided to order one probably will tonight iv settled on the sonoline B the pink one. It comes free with generic gel but for an extra 5$ I can get aquasonic gel. Does anyone know the difference

I never even used U/S gel this time, I used baby oil gel and it works just as good! the first time I used aquasonic and it just gets annoying buying it constantly (because I used it constantly haha)

haha my husband stole the doctor's tube of u/s gel from the hospital lmfao. he's Army so it doesn't really matter. they have mass amounts of everything hahahaha just thought i'd share

Lol ill probably get both and see what I like more. I know my ob uses aquasonic cuz iv seen it on the bottle lol im just curious to know the difference

LOL sounds like my hubby, he always has pockets full of gloves when we leave the doctor or hospital, when we went to visit his brother he took one of those little bottles of mouthwash :| any kind of gel will work fine though, at the doctors office we just use "dynalube" it must be cheap cause the tube looks like it was designed in the 70s lol

The Doppler I have can be used with water or gel, I didn't bother using gel I just use warm water on a cloth

Im ordering from fetaldoppler.net they have a good selection and great prices the one im getting is 55.95 nog including shipping though but I looked at another place that sold the same one for 255 without gel. And renting one was 55 a month it was outrageous lol

I just use lotion with mine. works just as good, and its always good to lotion up. 37 weeks and still no stretch marks...knock on wood!

I have an ultrasound machine and we use plain ky jelly it works just as good
