That might help. You could always use a turkey baster or something similar if you have one on hand. The warm water helps you're urge to go and flushes the acidic urine away at the same time. I can't believe you don't have one! Those should be used for a minimum of two weeks after birth in my opinion!

You could also keep a class by your toilet and keep room temperature water in it and slowly pour it over you while you're using the bathroom.

I had a second degree tear down 1 side she told me. Got disolvable stitches but she hasnt gave me anything to use for having a wee. Im from uk not sure if they do that here. I was thinking a shallow bath and weeing in the bath?

Depending In Where They Put The Stitches I Would Try Leaning Forward Before You Go. When I Say Lean Forward I Mean Like To Where You Have Your Hands Near Your Feet. I've Had A Few Occasions Where I Was Torn Or Had A Yeast Infection And It Hurt Like No Other But Sitting Forward Helped. Also Have A Wash Rag With Cold Water Handy So You Can Just Hold It There Until The Burning Subsides.

Did the hospital or wherever give you a peri bottle? The first three months of my daughter's life I had to use a peri bottle to help me pee. You just fill it with warm water and gently spray down there while you're going and it helps ease the sting. Congratulations! If you don't mind my asking, how bad was your tear? Did your doc or midwife call it a first degree, second degree, third or fourth degree? In my experience, those numbers help indicate how many months it will take to start feeling semi normal again.
