I wake up on my back alot...now I can tell the difference from when I was now at 32 weeks and my second trimester...I do get a little breathless when I stay on my back more than I should so I turn over quick..it makes a difference when the baby gets bigger ull be fine
Thank you ladies! You all always help me relax and feel better when im stressing over the little things. I appreciate all your replies:) i feel better knowing that some of u have experienced the same and could give me first hand insight
Sleeping on ur tummy is fine as well as waking up on ur back it's only usually if ur lying flat on ur back with no pillows or anything, just turn on ur side and ul be fine :)
Honestly hun, should be fine! If you really can't help but worry call your midwife but think about it, how many women have done the same thing you've done and nothings come from it, I think that only applies when you're further along too. Plus you're new to this you're going to be more nervous, you don't know what to expect only natural
They say if you wake up on your back just turn on to your side you will be fine
Idk I always sleep on my back, my baby will be here in 7 days.
I do all the time ,no need to worry
Ive been told that baby weight is on a main artery which slows down your blood flow causing decrease in your breathing thus causes less blood flow to your baby....im just a nervous wreck
I wouldn't say be worried, I've woke up sometimes half on my stomach! I use to wake up alot on my back with my first, you can't exactly help yourself when you're asleep can you? (: second time mummy 25 weeks gone (:
Why would waking up on your back be bad? I'm a ftm but I always thought it was bad to wake up on your stomach?
