Trust me it was worth it we had so much fun the first time we were their I wasn't pregnant like this time but I can't wait :) we only staid for a night we are going to spend the weekend this time :) hope you have as much fun as we did
Yeah the concert worries me more than the water park because alcohol gets involved n I gotta worry about drunks running around n I won't even be able to get up close like I'd want and it would be difficult to stay hydrated because like I said before water costs like 5 bucks and they take your cap so you can't reuse it you have to buy another. N i'm a cheap person lol so when I usually go to it I try to buy as less as I can. I think the concert is completely out. As for the water park IF I go I'd be really careful with sunscreen n people bumping me. I'll just have to ask my doctor. As for who said about the hotel and the pool. I actually might consider that. Its a pretty good idea. Thank you ladies for your input. I appreciate it! (:
Put it this way we arent allowed is spas, that should give you an indication of the pressure we cant have. Remember your pregnant your life is changing you cant do everything you did b4 you were pregnant. Even a concert is dangerous. Sumthings we cant take part ib unfortunatly. Go to water park but just be careful dont push yr luck because luck is sumthing you cant gamble with.
Pregnant in the heat is hard lol I would be paranoid about too many ppl and falling etc especially in a concert but I complete understand you...me n my hubby n daughter are going to a hotel for a weekend with pool since the one we found is a Marriott that isn't busy all the time we will be their spending the weekend in the pool last time we were their the hotel was dam near empty and it was awesome lol why not look into something like that you ur fiance and maybe two of your closes friends or just the two of you before the baby comes that quality time together will be nice even if its for a day check in early and leave at the last second the next day..just a idea have fun
When I said rides I meant water rides... Even less would be roller coasters. U may be okay in the lazy river but then if it's packed like always you would have to be worried about getting bumped into, accidentally kicked, or hit. I would do neither a hot concert or a water park as appealing as it may sound things are different now, from swelling to walking to much or just being in the sun can all make u end up in the hospital.
Lol wish I could go swimming tomorrow. I'm in Indiana. No place up here opens until memorial day weekend. ):
WATER lol. I'm 22 weeks and going swimming tomorrow. It's so nice cause its like you're weightless. ^.^
Well they got small slides n wave pool n lazy river. I just can't decide if I'd rather go to a hot a.s.s concert where water cost over 5 bucks cold and see some of my favorite bands. Or go to the water park with friends n fiance and barely able to ride anything but be in the water all day but FREE water all day. ahhh what would you guys do? Lol.
The only thing I was allowed to do at the water parks was sit in the lazy river.. Not much fun.. The park had signs everywhere stating if u were pregnant you would not be permitted to ride.. long hot day I tell you :( definitely won't be going to.any water parks this time around!
I would ask your doctor first just to be on the safe side. I had a friend who went on just a small kiddy ride at the state fair with her toddler when she was pregnant with her second and her placenta became unattached.
I worked as a lifeguard at a small local waterpark. It is true that most of the rides especially those that are bigger or more dangerous you won't be allowed to ride, but we would let the pregnant ladies go down the smaller none dangerous slides..they looked 2 be about 7months. But it all depends on what your doctor says really.
Well I guess my question was could I go on any water rides I know no roller coasters or anything. ( the park i'm going to gives free drinks n free sunscreen!! Wooo lol) so staying hydrated will be perfectly fine. I just wanna be able to go on slides. :/ but i'm kinda doubting I'll be able to.
It won't be very fun since your not allowed on any rides! It's even in the park rules. Adding to this be careful in the sun with dehydration, all that walking and sunburn. I avoided all amusement parks during my pregnancies.
Uggggh. I wasnt done lol stupid phone. Anyways I guess that was the jist of it. Just wanting to know if anyone has been to one while preggo our what your doc says about it. I haven't got a chance to ask my doc as my appt isn't till the 17th.
