weekly doc appointments?

I am 32+3 ftm, so I'm kinda confused because I read that when you hit a certain week your suppose to start having a doc appointment every 2 weeks..nothing has changed yet, I'm still going once a month and now recently had to change ob.
should I be going in every week yet or every 2 weeks still??

I started my biweekly visits at 27 weeks and I will start my weekly at 36 weeks. You should def be going every 2 weeks calendar wise, but id ask your doc at your next appointment

I only had one, 2 week appt. and I thought that was strange too, 'cuz according to my "I'm Expecting" App. your supposed to start your bi-weekly's at 27 weeks until 36 weeks and then you start your weekly's. I'm goin' to my first weekly appt. on Friday and I'll be a day over 36 weeks.
