weight ?

So, I will be 19 weeks pregnant tomorrow. We found out on Christmas eve its a boy!!!! My question is, I've only gained maybe 2 pounds thus far. The baby weighs 7 ounces. My doctor says he isn't concerned with it. But is this normal to only gain at the most 2 pounds being almost 19 weeks pregnant? I'm tall but I'm average build pre pregnancy.

It's nothing to worry about. I had really bad morning sickness and ended up losing weight but when we had the gender ultrasound at 18 w he was a very healthy 8 ounces.  If your doctor isn't worried don't worry yourself.  Congrats and welcome to team blue

You don't really start to gain until the late 2nd and 3rd trimesters. But its also normal to not gain much at all. I lost 25 in the beginning, and am 36 weeks, and still haven't gotten all the way back up. As long as your doctor isn't concerned, it should be fine. :)
