I have never been a very active person and have been overweight for as long as I could remember. I am 5"7 and after losing 65 pounds I weighed 194. I am back up to 215 at just over 19 weeks. I have a very bad habit of eating whatever I want while pregnant. Try not to let yourself feel to bad about the weight you put on. It'll come off eventually and right now as long as everyones healthy that's all that matters

Good luck!! I can't give much advice in the weight gain or how hard/easy it is to lose it once baby is born, as I never gained. Within 6 months of delivery I was 55 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight and I wasnt trying to lose it.

Your pre-pregnancy weight wasn't bad, I think it might be classified as overweight though (I am 5'2 and was 147 pre-pregnancy as well) Your gain is a bit on the higher end however. I'm not sure what take away is... Fast food perhaps? Do you eat healthy, such as plenty of fruits, vegetables, chicken, etc etc? If you do and you don't eat tons of junk (chips, cakes, fast food, etc etc) then it will all work itself out in the end. Many times extra fluids, retention, bloating, etc can cause your weight to be higher and much of it will go down once baby is born. Everything in moderation is the key to remember - you aren't actually eating for two, you only need a few hundred extra calories a day (300-500 give or take) Has your doctor expressed any concern at all or said anything? If they haven't, I wouldn't worry.

I was 147 lbs pre preg and i am now 182 lbs!!... i was big into running ! nearly everyday for 2 years but when i found out i was pregnant i stopped (also didn't feel like it so much anymore with sickness!) .. i didn't think my eating habits are that bad! i have take away on the weekend.. my activity levels have varied throughout this pregnancy .. non existent to start .. then second trimester got better.. im now starting to be very tired and weak feeling again so haven't been out walking and stuff!.. i hadn't weighed my self since 17 weeks.. then i did yesterday at my midwifes appointment.. it was 16.00 lol... i am 5" 4

What was your Pre-pregnancy weight and what's your height? How are your eating habits vs activity levels? Do you weigh yourself at the end of the day after you eat, or in the morning?
